Vallavanuku Pullum Aayutham - An Abysmal Flick !
Today is really my day, I crossed my best score of 2,000,000 in Subway Surfers, Entered 600th Level in 4 Pics 1 Word, Won Stick Cricket Partnerships game consecutively... Yeah !! That's what I did from the moment the movie started.
From 1887, Tamil Cinema has seen 54932227452 revenge movies. This is no exception. The very first scene itself shows it clearly. Then a title card, After 27 years.... then someone screams "Enga da Sathya?" and with glowing backdrop Santhanam shows himself with an intro song. For a second, I was in chaos, whether it was Vijay anna movie or Santhanam's Lollu sabha or some other spoof movie.
Santhanam wants to sell his 5 acres of land from his property and get money. But his uncle warns him, if he goes to his native place, he will be murdered just for the sake of revenge. But still Santa goes. And in train, he meets the heroine [as per TC rules, she is the daughter of the villain]. Instead of Power Star, this time Santa has used Devayani's husband Rajakumaran as a pawn to mock him which went horribly wrong. Sathyamaa Siripae varala santhanam saarae, erichal thaan vanthuchu. Devayani deserves Bharat ratna for maintaining him as husband all these years. The whole theatre can't bear his atrocity/comedy even for 20 minutes. Phew !
The Villain is a very good guy actually. He has some sentiments. One of the sentiment is he won't kill anyone inside his home. Actually that's the main theme of the whole movie. So santa enters villain's den and refuses to step out. For these he does few tricks which makes us angry instead of making happy. And the climax was ....... so deplorable. Now this movie made 'Brahmman' an instant cult classic.
It is pretty obvious that Santhanam is pissed off with Siva Karthikeyan's heroics. So he wants to be a hero, as he is the senior. So he had worked hard, took a successful story for remake, but failed to choose the director wisely which ended up everything in vain. Santhanam has danced a lot like Vijay anna. Most of his movements were so close to anna's steps. But whatever he does seems to be in a comic way, that's another big minus. A big sorry Santa.
You should've been careful. When Karthi drove Maruti Omni against 24 Sumos in Alex Pandian, our audience laughed madly at it. You are not a mass hero like Karthi, and you drive a bicycle against Sumo and 10 villains which is even worse.. You close the door latch with legs.. Only good thing is you never had a fight scene.
Asha Zaveri has nothing to do worth other than showing her tummy for an item number and do a cry baby in the climax. Even the rest of the characters are so weak.
This movie has no sense, no story, actions are amateurish, emotions are artificial, dialogues are brainless. The whole theatre laughed and boo-ed a lot during the movie on how stupid many scenes and dialogues could be. After 2 hrs 24 mins 52 secs of watching this movie, I really wonder what was this movie about? Even if considering a love genre, this movie doesn't belong to it either. Love between the main characters was very funny and superficial. Can't consider it as comedy genre as there is not even any sign of hidden comdies. Completely Worthless.
I really wish I could give you some positives in this movie but I can't.
